New Orleans Opens, reopens in September 2008, after undergoing a $9 million renovation. Nestled among beautiful Louisiana cypress and oaks, Lakewood promises to be one of the South’s premier golf destinations.

The New Orleans Firefighters Pension Fund purchased Lakewood Country Club in 2003 with plans to develop the surrounding property into an upscale golf resort including golf villas, a 4-star luxury hotel, condominiums and more in the next few years.

The renovated golf course is the first phase of an exciting master plan.
